One of the highest sought after domain names Sex.com was supposed to be auctioned off to the highest bidder today in New York City. Due to last minute legal filing by the domain owner’s creditors the auction was postponed just hours before the sale.
Sex.com originally was purchased for $14 million dollars in 2006, which is the most ever for a domain name at the time but failed to build revenue. The bidding starts at a low $1 million. Hopefully they can get this under way and we’ll be sure to fill you in on how much it gets sold for.
