Ricks Cabaret CEO And President Takes Steps To End Las Vegas Club Losses By Curtailing Its Operations

The city of sin, Las Vegas has changed a lot from the way it once was, which was a Mecca for the gentlemen’s club industry. Over our past few travels to the “party built on a desert” the Vegas feel has taken a lot of hits. Don’t get us wrong, Vegas is lots of fun and still has its flag ship hotels like the The Wynn, Caesars Palace,. Bellagio, Venetian and the newest of all, the Aria Hotel. News has hit the gentlemen’s club industry and President and CEO of Ricks Cabaret Eric Langan spoke about it.

President and CEO of Rick’s Cabaret Eric Langan gave a statement regarding steps taken by “curtailing its operation”. In his statement he says “we have done everything possible to make this location [Ricks Cabaret Las Vegas] viable since its acquisition in 2008 and we now believe it is in our shareholders’ best interests no to continue these efforts”. Ricks Cabaret has a LARGE number of clubs all throughout the country and with the declining market in Las Vegas Eric Langan also said “We do not believe the Las Vegas market itself will return to its former strength in the near future”.

It’s a complete mystery the direction of the gentlemen’s club industry but it seems like the the bigger mystery is exactly why it is happening. We’ll be sure to keep you informed.
