This seems to be the longest fight between a strip club and a city. This 18 year old fight over nude dancing in the city of Chicago versus VIP’s A Gentlemen’s Club has seemed to go on too long but there isn’t an end in sight. Chicago ordinances say that no strip club in the windy city should be able to serve liquor.

Owner Perry Mandera has been battling and scuffling with numerous courts since 1993. When it comes to nudity, the girls have covered up under the orders of the club owner but the courts are still trying to shut down the club. City is known historically as a city that was once Al Capones stomping growns during the time of Prohibition while bootlegging was the economic base for many levels of organized crime. Seems like the city of Chicago hasn’t left that era and enforcing laws that are a bit out dated.

Hopefully this can come to a swift end that benefits the business VIP’s A Gentlemens Club.
