A commonality, and for good reason, among strip clubs is wiping down the pole between performers. Some establishments make this a requirement prior to performing, others could care less.But it is absolutely necessary to do so! Dr. Louis Jovesky, a long-time germ expert and an avid VIP-er, says that wiping down between sets is as necessary as washing hands after using the bathroom or using hand sanitizer after using public transportation. He says germs, infections, and virus’ can be passed through the pole as a germ medium.

So whether its policy or not, next time squirt some disinfectant on the pole before you end up squirting something out between your legs that shouldn’t be!
