31-year-old Gregorak, who spent seven years on Bobby Hauck’s staff at the University of Montana and followed Hauck to UNLV in December, is accused by police in Boulder, Colo., of stealing a .45-caliber handgun and wallet from a strip club bouncer on May 1. Formal charges are expected Thursday at a hearing in Boulder, but UNLV athletic director Jim Livengood told the Review-Journal that he told Gregorak to resign, and that Gregorak’s contract wouldn’t be renewed when it expires June 30.
