In an undercover drug sting, officer Carlos Calderon, was in a little too deep when he was ousted by Orlando’s Club Harem staff for doing much more than “kissing” a stripper in the undercover operation and then fired from the Winter Park Police Department.Calderon, or as dancer Michelle Merry knew him – construction worker Luis Lopez, was investigating the Orlando cabaret off of word that they were trafficking drugs through the place. According to him, his last interaction with Merry was a beautiful stroll followed by a lovely goodnight kiss. But the Club Harem staff, who were all out of a job when they shut down the joint told all including Calderon’s ongoing sexual relationship with Merry and his frivolous spending habits that included over $4,000 on drinks, dances, and cocaine. Oh, and there was also an occasional drink here and there for underage strippers as well.

Calderon’s case is currently being appealed.
