There’s an unspoken art form within the exotic dancing industry which is in front of all of our faces but we fail to appreciate. The Strip Club DJ is a craft that we all know and hear but fail to truly understand the complexity of. Not only are we going to shed light on these key players that keep the girls moving and the money flowing, we’re introducing the world to the industry’s TOP THREE DJ’s you may not even know you know.

Every trade has a Master and his Apprentices.  In this case, the Master is also the pioneer and he goes by the name of DJ Markie Mark. This England-native has literally been in the industry his whole life. An MC at his family-owned men’s club at the age of 9, by the time he was a teenager, he decided to get behind the turntables as a self-promotion tool and the rest was history. Rumored to have had numerous celeb entertainers and porn stars as bed buddies(of course he doesn’t kiss and tell), what DJ Markie Mark is really known for is Grand Canyon sized impact he’s left on the industry.
A man who has truly mastered the game, Markie Mark got his first big break at the original Scores and then moved on to Flashdancers where his career skyrocketed. If you asked him to mention how many venues he’s DJ’d at since or his favorite DJ collaborations, he wouldn’t even know where to start. One thing he does recall his where the most beautiful women in the world are…none other than where Life began…Africa’s Cairo, Egypt. DJ’ing has taken Markie Mark across the world and back and when it comes to being able to do his job the right way, he owes it all to club management. Who, without the right management, his job wouldn’t even be worth doing.

DJ Markie Mark is still heavily involved in the industry as he is one of the most respected figureheads the industry has to offer. With friends in very high places, it is rumored this man is attached to millions of dollars in both cash and assets, but he’ll never disclose those kind of details. Rather, he’ll give you the advice that has taken him to the stars and beyond: “Work hard and follow your dreams and you can achieve the American Dream in this industry…I did!”

And before you take it as a cliche, allow us to introduce to the world two industry monsters that have spawned from DJ Markie Mark’s success and guidance.

DJ Page and DJ Renegade. Heard of them? Sure you have, you just don’t know it.

DJ Page (pictured above on the right) is the resident DJ at Rick’s Cabaret in New York City (where he crossed path with DJ Markie Mark) and has a track record all over New York and New Jersey that rings bells amongst the most elite strip club circles. First spinning at the age 14, DJ Page was your run of the mill house party mover and shaker until he broke through the industry at the age of 17 as one of the biggest MC’s in Seaside Heights history and is aptly named the godfather of the “Fake Orgasm Contest”.

With a text book sized list of DJ friends and industry associates, DJ Page is the first to admit that being a strip club DJ is no easy task. Many other industry DJ’s may sleep on the strip club DJ but when regular DJ’s have set routines that they can practice for a nightclub’s one particular demographic, the strip club DJ has to deal with over 100 women in a night and be able to not only throw on their songs on the fly but actually KNOW the song in order to mix it properly. No easy task by any means. But it is a job he wouldn’t trade for anything in the world.

After all, where else will you work and see the featured dancer shoot darts out of their vagina ten feet across the dance floor and pop balloons? A story only DJ Page could recall.

DJ Renegade (pictured above) is the final piece to this trio of DJ heavyweights. Stumbling into the exotic dancing industry, he was a primarily rhythm and dance producer when he tried to sneak into a local strip joint when he was 19 years old and got caught. Thinking quick on his feet he fooled security into thinking he was there to try out as a DJ and just like that, introduced himself to the game.

A New York City night club DJ at the core, DJ Renegade has spun at some of the cities most reputable venues, many of which no longer exist. His career has outlasted some of the biggest names in nightclub history, including Limelight NYC and The Tunnel. Now, he calls Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club home 4 nights out of the week and is paid to guest appear all over the Tri-State area. With over 20 years in the game, DJ Renegade should be able to retire and collect a pension.

Without these three men, the industry would have no identity when it comes to the strip club DJ. They created the art form, perfected it, and then helped it evolve. Sure they’re not the only three strip club DJ’s worth knowing…but they’re the only three worth mentioning.
