Reputed Colombo under boss John “Sonny” Franzese was convicted in his federal racketeering trial. Labeled the Nodfather by local New York media the 93yr old mobster is said to have been “shaking down” the Hustler club and Penthouse Gentlemen’s Clubs in midtown Manhattan.
With the drama of an actual scene in a mobster movie Franzeses’ own son took the stand against his father. Son, John Franzese was a former drug addicted who recorded hours of incriminating conversations with his father as a government informant.
Hustler Club and Penthouse Club are two of the most premier Gentlemen’s Clubs in both NYC and in the country. It doesn’t seem like there will be an appeal but Sonny Franzeses’ wife said “That man can do jail time standing on his head. He’s true to his position. He lived it. He breathed it. He’ll die it.”
