Sheryl Azevedo, a former stripper at the famous Flashdancers Gentlemens Club was injured while riding in a cab. After her shift at Flashdancers she hoped in a cab which slammed into a dumpster. “Ms. Azevedo hit her face against the partiition behind the driver, she was bleeding and ended up with a scar on her nose” says her lawyer Mitchel Ashley. With this sudden scar, Ms. Azevedo and her lawyer said that it affected her job as a stripper since her look is such a prominent quality regardless of what club, city, state or country she works in.

After moving to the Midwest and still stripping at an unknown strip club she said her money dropped drastically but the cab companies lawyers are saying that her diminished income attributes to Ms. Azcevedos’ age(she’s 34) and her weight. Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Jack Battaglia ruled that a jury should decide whether the accident and the scar had an impact on her earnings.
