The young and hugely popular movie stud Channing Tatum is looking to stir up something new on the big screen by playing a male stripper. Yes, you read correctly, a MALE STRIPPER. While chatting with The Sydney Morning Herald the “G.I. Joe” star said “I’ve already got the director picked out. I’d like Nicolas Refn, who did the movie Bronson, to do it because he’s insane for it. It needs to be a crazy and I think it’s also possible to do a cute, romantic movie”.

I guess Channing Tatum is looking to really tap into his female audience, like if they don’t already have his picture on their college dorm rooms. A video of Tatum surfaced last year with him dancing topless and nobody complained so expect long lines for him more then topless on the big screen. Just with the female audience alone you can say goodbye to Avatars ticket sales record.

Let’s see what transpires with this. At least he doesn’t need dance lessons, just give him the script and roll the cameras.
