There are many common mistakes men make when it comes to fashion. To our credit, we’re men, so fashion doesn’t come naturally nor easy for us so we’re allowed a slip-up here and there. HOWEVER, when it comes to Butterfly Collars, there is never an excuse.What’s even worse is that fashion designers have ceased to make these atrocious collared shirts yet men still think its “fashionable” to create such a devastation.

They stopped making butterfly collared shirts for a reason…because they were a horrible fashion statement. That doesn’t mean that you must create the look by forcefully taking your innocent collared dress shirt and flip it out over your suit jacket. Now this isn’t for our fashionably savvy readers, we know you wouldn’t come close to a butterfly collar with a 50-foot stick, but there are readers (and men) out there who still attend social events with their collars “exposed” and the worst part is they think it looks good.

Please listen to Mr. Etiquette when he is being brutally honest by saying: BUTTERFLY COLLARS ARE NOT CUTE, NOT COOL, AND WILL DO NOTHING FOR YOU IN TERMS OF WOMEN. IT DIDN’T LOOK GOOD ON SCARFACE AND ABSOLUTELY DOESN’T LOOK GOOD ON YOU.
