Mr. Etiquette: Toe to Toe

Your image is everything. In fact, it’s the only thing you have that will advertise who you are and make or break the right impression you’ll give off to those who pass judgment quickly. In a world like the exotic dancing world where high-end venues are lucrative arenas for real movers and shakers, your appearance sets the tone.

We’ve talked about your suit and its cut. We’ve touched on the perfect knot to let ‘em know you mean business. And we’ve even spoke about the accents that are crucial like cuff links. But what we’ve yet to touch on is the final point that will seal the deal. What goes on your feet!

Business attire, or “business-esque” attire, calls for one and only one style of shoe. The Wingtip shoe. Italians have mastered this art of shoe making like no other shoe designers in the world which will run you a pretty penny depending on the designer and production method of the shoe but it is extremely worth every penny. Especially so if you float in circles of high fashion socialites because they WILL recognize the swagger. What we want to stay away from are square toe shoes (see image below) because they are tasteless, outdated, and give off the “mail room” interview vibe which no one wants if they can help it.

So maintain your shoe catalog properly and do so with class!
